Program/Service Notes:
Provides a variety of services to the low-income, elderly and handicapped in eastern Kanawha County, including: -EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE for utility terminations, rent evictions and medical needs. Personal /household items are available. -FOOD PANTRY -CLOTHING & BLANKET PROGRAM -GARDEN SEED PROGRAM -OUTREACH SERVICES -INFORMATION & REFERRAL The program also assists by taking applications for WEATHERIZATION, LIEAP, and FEMA programs. When funding is available we assist with the purchase of eyeglasses, prescriptions and medical visits for clients without medical coverage.
