Program/Service Notes:
Provides gynecological services for well women, teens to senior citizens, including the following: abortion, pap smears, pelvic examinations, STD diagnosis and treatment, pregnancy tests, birth control counseling and supplies, ultrasound, pregnancy option counseling, emergency contraception and reproductive health education programs for groups. The WHC Parent Program provides Right From The Start pregnancy and parenting education and support services for Medicaid-eligible women. The Parent Program also sponsors a weekly mothers' educational support group. Operates the Family Planning and Cancer Screening programs funded by the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health.
