Program/Service Notes:
A private, non-profit corporation, the official auxiliary of the US Air Force. Currently 700 members in West Virginia in three different phases: CADET PROGRAMS: CAP offers young people between the ages of 12-21 an excellent opportunity to pursue interests in aviation, search and rescue and aerospace education. Through this youth organization cadets learn discipline, military courtesy and respect. They also learn first aid, CPR, and search and rescue techniques. Cadets have the opportunity to attend special activities at different locations throughout the US. CAP also offers an international exchange program for cadets to work toward. With the emphasis on aviation, cadets also have opportunities to take orientation flights.
